To Go Foodbar is the brainchild and passion of Chef Proprietor Liza Hardoon, who made her mark on Toronto’s culinary scene through her catering company Savory & Thyme, and earlier as the owner of the Parrot Café on Queen Street West.
Liza is a constant presence at To Go, whether cooking, supervising the kitchen staff, chatting in the storefront or arranging catered events around the city and province.
Liza studied cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and at Peter Kump’s New York Cooking School. She is supported by To Go’s Kitchen Brigade, a group of talented chefs with experience in some of Toronto’s finest restaurants, and households!
To Go’s food philosophy is simple: fresh ingredients, freshly prepared. We order fish, meat, vegetables and bread daily from top local purveyors.
